The Team
Streaming Stories is an initiative of cre8 studios,
designed and delivered by Calling The Shots.
cre8
studios is Swindon’s community digital media centre.
They provide access and opportunities to people locally and regionally
to make, enjoy and understand broadcast media, film, photography
and sound.
Established in 1983, cre8 has a long history of large-scale regional
community education projects promoting the innovative use of cutting
edge digital technology to the most vulnerable sections of society.
Calling
the Shots are a digital production company specialising in the
design, management and production of participatory film and new
media projects.
They work with organisations like the Film Council, Arts Council
England, the Watershed Media Centre as well as local communities
and agencies.
Set up in 1998, CTS has established a reputation for highly original
projects like ‘Stray’, ‘Five Girls’, ‘We
Live Here’ and ‘Life Ain’t Easy’, that emphasise
community participation, high production standards and the importance
of an end product to be proud of.
